I think that if you're going with simple pillows, I'd look for more contrast between the rug pattern and your curtains than the options above. If you'd layer in more pattern with pillows, then I like that they're neutral colors! </p> <p>I like teal with red! I'm pretty sure he'd be okay with mixed prints if it were all the same color--but I'm not sure if that's super boring.</p> <p>We already have curtains that are a pretty bold print and make a big visual impact, so I want a rug that coordinates but isn't boring--and no chevron....and no red, because we won't have the dining chairs forever.</p> <p>I love the first two rooms and the print mixing there.
