We opted for the 25th which is Chinese New Year. Here the kids go to school for MLK and offices are open.I guess it varies per locations. I’d say to another weekend and possibly move the other siblings. It seems possible as our elementary takes 2 days off this year (M-Tu) and Preschool is off 1 day (that is where most of our invite list would come from). </p> <p>That’s my ideal weekend, the weekend before would be before his birthday. Silly again but I want him to get presents from us before he gets stuff from all his friends. Doing it even later is a no go because my oldest has her bday party that weekend and I can’t handle both. </p> <p>I’m sure I’m overthinking this but it will be his first friends party for turning 5 and I want a decent turnout! </p>
