There are different plans so it kind of depends on what they're looking to do, but if they purchased a device either though us or that's compatible with our network plans for just the hotspot start at about 70/month. If they have service with us they can add a hotspot to their plan for 20 dollars a month, though they may need to up the amount of data they have depending on how much they're using it. Also, most smart phones now can be used as a hotspot and that feature runs about 20dollars per month per phone you want to have that capability- my husband and I are both employees and don't have home internet, we exclusively use our phones as a hotspot. It works great (we are also grandfathered into an unlimited plan for it so it might not honestly be the cheapest option with tiered pricing. At least it wouldn't be for us, we stream A TON.)
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/mobile-hotspots#post-2246733 Mon, 27 Jul 2015 08:40:51 +0000 mrbee 2246733@https://boards.hellobee.com/
My friend needs to buy a mobile hotspot and isn't sure where to start. I researched it a bunch but it's not always clear what the ongoing fees would be! So thought I'd ask here.

Have you bought and used any mobile hotspots... any advice?
