I've been using almond oil and love it. Switching from a lotion to an oil takes some getting used to, but my skin is obviously benefiting! :)

I use Boscia and love it for daily wear. in the winters I use creme de la mer and it saves my face. I have super dry skin so I need the heavy duty stuff in the winters.

What about a moisturizer with SPF? Or do you ladies use a separate SPF? I've been using a Shiseido moisturizer with SPF 15 which I LOVE, but have been thinking of dropping down to something less expensive. Well, it's $40, which isn't too bad, but still...

I love Elizabeth Ardens sensitive skin calming moisturizing lotion. I can typically find it at Marshalls for about 12.99 as opposed to the 34.99 in dept stores - when I find it I buy a lot of it.

I've used the cetaphil sensitive skin moisturizer too. I've also used clinique and I really love it. Right now I'm using spectro hydracare during the day and jojoba oil at night after my shower. the spectro stuff smells a bit weird and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

My favorite is the clinique, but it is more expensive.

I use Dr Brandt blemishes no more oil free hydrator. It absorbs in well, and doesn't leave any greasy/slippery feeling. It really helps keep my blemishes at bay! It does have salicylic acid though, so not the best in pregnancy (my skin magically cleared up and was less dry during pregnancy though).

@futuremama: Don't use the same one - that one has fragrances and other stuff. You can get pure argan oil at a health food store or drugstore.com or some of the cosmetic companies make it, like Josie Maran but it's more expensive. I got sweet almond oil on drugstore.com for super cheap. I'm using that right now for everything - my face, ends of hair, belly, and body. I also bring it to use when I get massages.

I've been using the Cetaphil cream that PP's have suggested. It is for ultra dry sensitive skin. I've had these awful, ugly massive passive of dry, flaky skin on my face for MONTHS now. I tried coconut oil, I tried a serum with a moisturizer, I dried extra strength moisturizers--nothing was working. The dermatologist recommended this cream because he said I was probably too sensitive to everything in the stuff I've been using. My skin has gone batshit crazy with this pregnancy and it's the ONLY thing that's saving me from clawing it off

I use Olay, like you. I get hives from any other brand I've tried. I did have to recently switch from the normal to the oily skin version.
Have you tried the regenerist line? I think that's what it is called, but the one that comes in the red glass tub is really nice and thicker than the original kind in the white bottle. No SPF though, so I only use that one at night. It's sort of pricey but you can get it at Costco.

I use Cetaphil--way back in college my dermatologist recommended either that or Neutrogena, and I like Cetaphil a lot better. I use the lotion for my face and the cream for sunburn, elbows, baby bump, etc--it is super moisturizing and would be great for dry skin.

I've used Olay moisturizer forever and haven't had any problems. However, lately, my skin has been terribly dry and is breaking out because of it. It's to the point where my makeup looks flaky. Any recommendations for someone with dry but sensitive skin? I'd love a drugstore brand but am willing to get something pricier if it's worth it. I'm sick of looking like in going through puberty again!
