@Pirouette: And really, its gross. He drops it on the floor, toy box, anywhere and then right back in his mouth. I don't even want to think about it. I might have to sterilize it tonight when I get home.

@Pirouette: Mine doesn't really like teething toys either. For some reason, he loved this one. Its something about the bumps on the raspberry.

The other thing he loves to chew on is his extra toothbrush. Like carries it around with him. Everywhere.

@Mamaof2: thanks, i hope so too!!

@avivoca: ah, a soft spoon is a good idea, i remember she used to love to chomp on them when she first started teething. she does eat a fair bit of yogurt, and the other day we gave her some frozen yogurt which was a big hit...might have to try that again!

@JennyG: she isn't into most teething toys but i might have to give that one a try!

@.twist.: LOL! seriously! wine is already a part of the daily repertoire (for me! don't report me!)

Do you have one of these? http://www.amazon.com/Razbaby-009-RT-RaZ-berry-Teether-Red/dp/B000JWSO9I

LO has been chewing on that thing like crazy. One of the few things that seemed to comfort him. Big, big hugs. We're just getting them in too and it is rough.

Try yogurt, applesauce, or some soft veggies/fruits that she can put back there and knaw on to help alleviate the pain. H loves to chew her fingers, so she likes having things like raisins to chew on back there while hers come through. Also, a soft spoon may help.

I was going to suggest Motrin (but I see you are already doing that!) - its the only way my kids would sleep when getting those dang molars!

Also try soft foods -

Hope they come in fast and she gets some relief!

Oh man, these molars...i'm so tired of listening to LO whimpering in her sleep all night, i'm so tired in general because she's been up a lot in pain. She's got one molar in, and i think she might have 2 but i'm not brave enough to put my fingers in her shark mouth, so let's say she's got 3 to go. I need coping mechanisms! we're already going through motrin like crazy but it's really hard to get her to eat anything so sleep has been rough.

This too shall pass, right?? Are there any witchcraft rituals i can use to get those teeth to pop through faster? :silly:
