Not a huge deal but very annoying for something you use for such a short time. </p> <p>@LuLu Mom: the replacement harness (straps, buckle) are only $17 shipped. Replacement seat cover isn't available but that part isn't too bad and I'm about to wash it now. Hoping it comes out perfect. The straps would have to be replaced, they can't be cleaned well enough to get mold out and still be "safe". I think the stroller adapters work for all the Gracos, but I'm not sure. The seat cover I can wash, but there are mold spots all over the straps too. </p> <p>What would you do? I can see about ordering new straps, but it's an older model (graco snug ride classic connect, with a 22 lb limit) so I'm not sure if I can still get them. This is our last baby and I already have the stroller adapter for it, so I'd rather not buy a new one... But I also won't compromise a newborn's health and safety over the cost of a car seat, of course. </p> <p>Ugh. I knew we should have gotten it out of storage sooner to check for this kind of thing. Baby is due in less than 5 weeks! </p>
