My mom is very opinionated and would fit right in with all those feisty Asian aunties. I've learned throughout the years and now I lecture her more than anything. I'm not sure if it's just because she's my mom or that I know she means well, but I don't mind it too much.</p> <p>My MIL, on the other hand, thinks she's better than everyone else and assumes people are clueless except for her. It's nothing like the sweet Asian, yet pushy auntie attitude. There's no sweet that goes along with it.
