I still have slight scarring from scabs I picked. It was miserable and that strain was done of the worst cases our ped has seen. Started with a cold and diarrhea then high fever (it got up to 105) and the rash appeared after the fever dropped. Doctor said it was roseola. Some kids don’t feel really sick with it or get high fevers, some do. Same progression- low fever, mildly sick, yucky rash that didn't seem to bother her much. I put a little hydrocortisone on it for a couple days and it was fine.
