@kayla0416: yes that’s exactly it! Mine was always fine but I used to have a ton. Now not so much. My third is almost 1 so I’m wondering if this is the new normal for me :bummed:

@bhbee: My hair has been so awful since kids too. :( I have very fine hair, but it used to be somewhat thick, so it didn't bother me. Now with each kid, it seems like I never get the extra hair while pregnant but I still lose it by the handfull post-partum. My hair is so fine and thin now, it's very sad looking. :( I'm pregnant with my 3rd (and last) now, so I hope within a few years, it will start to come back!

I need a haircut and would love some new better fitting clothes. Being home with two can be crazy. I try to take a shower every morning and put on some make up even if I don’t have plans to leave the house. It makes me feel more like a person!!

Yeah I would love a makeover

I’ve been really sad since #3 because the pp hormones destroyed my hair. It’s so thin now, I was just looking at old pictures and noticing how it’s gotten progressively worse since I started having kids. Now it’s hard to make it look good even when I do have time.

My eyelashes also got destroyed when my hair loss phase started but I’ve been really happy with Grande Lash (or other similar lash conditioners). They really do work and something I can do at home in 2 seconds per night is right up my alley!

I would love a new wardrobe. Someday when I go back to work maybe!

@skinnycow: I was thinking that but mine are super blonde and I look like a little boy withput mascara on. So idk we will see.

@LadyDi: same. I feel like I need to start "getting ready" daily once more productive. I'm also gonna start yoga as well!

Yes, UGH I feel like I am in a total rut. I just had my 3rd child about a month ago, he's my last one and I do feel like a frumpy mess. I have spent the better part of the past four years either pregnant or breastfeeding and I have been thinking A LOT lately about how I need to start focusing on self care. I think I am going to come up with an action plan to try to outline some goals I have for myself. Some things I am going to try to do: start reading every day, putting on a little make up and actually get dressed in real clothes (I am a SAHM so I feel like I never "get ready" anymore but if I look better I do feel better), start practicing yoga in a studio once a week.

I probably only get my hair cut once or twice a year and I used to get my nails done on a regular basis but for budget reasons I stopped going but I really loved that time to myself. I feel you on the lash extensions. My lashes are terrible, I blame pregnancy and hormones.

I was doing pretty well at taking care of myself prior to having my daughter a few weeks ago. Now I'm just an unshowered mess most days... eventually I need to get out and get my hair done! I think I've put on makeup twice in the last five weeks and I usually put it on every day :meh:

Side note - if you don't want to commit to eyelash extensions I recommend a lash lift! It lasts longer, costs less, and is a little less dramatic looking than extensions.

I definitely feel like I am in a rut. I haven't gotten my hair cut in well over a year :meh: But I just found a new stylist and scheduled an appointment, I think I am going to take 6-8 inches off! So I think that will be a good start to getting out of the rut.

I finally learned to curl my hair a few months ago. I try to do it as often as I have the time for it and it makes me feel more put together!

@cyoung: I am definitely in a rut but don’t feel like I have the time to do anything about it! I will probably start with a hair cut and color!

I really feel like I need a mommy makeover Haha. I feel like I've been a little too deep in mom life. It's just so hard cause I get caught up in the go go go life I don't really do things for myself. I plan after I have my 3rd baby to do something for myself. I want to get a hair cut and maybe get some eyelash extensions. (I don't like people touching my feet or hands so I don't get my nails done) I'm doing research about it though and still debating. I'm ready to feel good about myself again. I feel like I look frumpy.

Any other moms feel like they are in a beauty/style rut?!?
