I wanted to take LO to the pediatrician a couple weeks back because I felt like her cries were sounding different, like she was in pain. DH was so irritated with me because he said it was going to be a total waste of a trip....she ended up having an ear infection! I had it before she was even born. We usually let her fuss/cry for a few minutes to see if she'll fall asleep on her own. Last night, she kept crying and to me, her cry sounded different - more desperate? DH wanted me to leave her alone, but something just felt wrong, so I went and checked on her. Good thing I did - baby girl had took a massive poop and her diaper had totally turned into a flotation device! </p> <p>Ever have a moment like this when your intuition was correct? </p>
