The only time she has a strong preference is middle of the night, bedtime, morning, nap time. Basically when she wants the boob. But she runs into daddy's arms when he comes home every day like he is the best ever (and he is!).</p> <p>DS has mommy preference, but it's usually mild. He is really into nursing and will make it known that he is ready to nurse right now so nothing else will do, thank you very much. He's really clingy right now, though, because he's teething really badly. I've been wearing him in the Tula just to do basic tasks around the house because he will cling to my leg and wail if I don't pick him up. DS turns 2 next week and has been on team daddy since BIRTH. He goes through phases where it doesnt seem as bad, but for the most part, it's always about daddy when he's home. He just prefers men in general, though, he always has. This morning he told me "mama, go over there" when I went to sit next to him and DH. </p> <p>And my mom is his other favorite. When she's around I'm not even allowed to hold his hand, lol. I'm so used to it, it doesn't even phase me anymore. I'm his main caretaker and I know he loves me, but I definitely get "taken for granted" a lot. I joke that I'm like a piece of furniture in the room that he knows is always around. Which is fine, but it makes bedtime harder (since I put her down). And when she wakes up in the middle of the night crying out for her mom and gets upset when I go in there to comfort her, that's a drag too.
