DH was off work until the Monday. Then it was all me! Ah! Only tough part was I was in a lot of pain. I'll need more help for # 2 one day though. Mostly because she helped run our shop so that DH could stay home with me. And she helped cook dinner. Love that!</p> <p>My dad stayed for 2 weeks to help cook food. Love my dad's cooking.</p> <p>My mom stayed for 2 months. She made sure all the dishes were clean, dried and folded all our laundry and did the housework. I think it would be especially great when you already have one LO and thus, need extra help to focus on the baby. First time around, I had my mom with me for two weeks, husband for 3 days. She's coming 3 days early. Hopefully I'm not too late or she'll be bored.<br /> Looking forward to having my mom here for postpartum help and it will be so awesome for dd1 as well to spend so much time with "yeen ma". </p> <p>Haha we also already have plans in place for DH to escape and setting up a nice retreat in her room for when she needs to escape. :P she'll be here for 2-3 months. </p> <p>Any family members coming postpartum help you? </p>
