@Rainbow Sprinkles: haha love this!

And YES!! It seems so easy to take just one of the girls somewhere. Don't know what I was stressed about before with just one :)

I don't think it's a lot harder to run errands with 2 kids as long as it's a place where I can stick them both in a shopping cart. Then one or two, it doesn't matter too much to me.

It's more work to take two kids to other places like the playground or children's museum because they want to do different things and there's only one of me.

Honestly, if I have the baby it's barely any different than having both. He is a pain but my 2 yo is soooo easy and fun to take anywhere. Total vacation just to have him.

Haha yes but I still can't decide which one I would rather bring sometimes. One talks a ton and is distracting. The other could have melt down any time.

Yes yes yes! I wish I would have known how easy having one kid was so I would have enjoyed it more.

Going places with both girls isn't difficult, but it takes more effort and planning. It feels so easy and effortless to take one kid, and I'm like "why didn't it feel this easy when it was just Chloe?!"

I think I'm more laid back now, too.

FOR SURE. I never knew what it was like with just one, so it's an amazing experience when DH and I split up and each take one. Regardless of which one of us stayed home and the other went out to do errands, we come back and marvel at how easy it was! What it would have been like without twins! But, if that were the case, we would have never experienced two at once, so I'm sure one would still be hard. Just like I have NO CLUE how moms of triplets do it. :silly:

Sort of. My 3 year old is easy but my 14 month old just wants to move and pull things down and not be held so shopping with her isn't fun. It does make it easier when there's only one to manage but it's still not fun with the 14 month old

Oh my gosh, yes! Like others said, I really don't know why I thought one was SO hard. I used to complain about just taking DS out or that I didn't have time to do anything. Now taking just one is a piece of cake.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Yes. Yes. And YES. How I ever thought it was hard to do things when I only had one child is beyond me! Getting to do anything now with only one kid in tow is an absolute cakewalk!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I agree though! I ALWAYS think to myself why the hell I thought I was "so busy" and it was "so hard" having only one kid!

My two are easy kids, but it's just a lot of extra work and planning that you don't have with one child! So yes, taking one child as opposed to both is really just 1/2 the wOrk, ha!

I hope this isn't offensive to people who only have one, but when people (namely my SIL) with only one kid complain about how hard it is to go places or how they have no time to do anything around the house, I want to chuckle (aka laugh at them). Whenever I only have one child with me, I feel like I can RUN ALL THE ERRANDZ. COOK ALL THE DINNERZ. CLEAN ALL THE HOUSEZ. it's insanely freeing and easy to just have just one.

But maybe my mom, a mother of five, is laughing at me when I say that two is hard. :)

I'm not going to lie -I remember thinking how hard it was to go to the store w/ a kid when we only had one, longing for the times to be able to go by myself. Now I will gladly take one kid over both if I can. HAHA
