We want three (hubby says four if #3 is a third girl - he keeps predicting #3 will be twins!), and I'd like to be finished by around 35 I think. I live in an area that older moms are the norm though. My co-workers are had their second at 36/37/40. I don't think they are going for a third. The coworkers that have announce recently with their first are 31/35. I don't think they are going for a second.</p> <p>I want to have more than two also but the journey to 2 has been harder than I thought. The catch? She had eight kids! LOL! So she started early and ended late.</p> <p>@mrsmate: This is the big game-changer for me. After having my m/c, I started to question the logic of waiting around to get pregnant, or making pregnancy a life goal. Not because it isn't valuable, but because it isn't certain to happen. I had been stalling on a lot of things thinking pregnancy would happen easily. Honestly, for me it has been really easy in spite of my m/c, I still haven't had the difficulty that other women have had. But it did make me realize, I just can't put everything on hold hoping for something to happen that I don't have control over! So I'm applying to graduate school now. If I get pregnant, I figure going to grad school will be easier than a 40 hr workweek (this will be my second masters so it is something I feel comfortable taking on, and right now I'm only working part-time). On a lark I enrolled in an entrepreneurship training class taught by a local nonprofit, and now I want to start my own business way more than a 3rd LO. I was 31 w/DD1, 34 w/DD2, and I don't know if I want to be in the thick of owning a new business and add a 3rd child in the mix, seems crazy. </p>
