Thanks for all the input ladies! I ended up just buying a small pack of size 3 diapers. So far, so good. Only one night (since Saturday) leak. I didn't want to pull th trigger on overnight diapers since they only sold them in huge boxes and I didn't want to waste money if they didn't work.

We use the walmart or huggies overnight diapers. They work really really really well despite being walmart brand.
Also at 5 months we were in size 3, ready to move up to size 4! Our LO was skinny too.

I had this exact issue and we got the overnights in size 3 even though he was in size 2 during the day and it worked great - no more wet sheets!

@mrs. wagon: Yep, we point it down and still the leaks. This kid clearly inherited his mommas teeny tiny bladder!

I think we're going to try going up a size in an overnight. Hopefully this will help!

@Candy_nee: I would definitely go up a size, try overnights, try a "soaker", or double diaper!

Also, is it coming up his front? Are you pointing his penis downward before diapering him? That was a problem for us until we learned to point it down.

@Mrs. High Heels: I looked and looked for overnight diapers and couldn't find them in a size 2. I think size 3s have them. I think I"m going to try out a small pack of them. And maybe even still use the cover! I'm sick of changing the sheets every night! :)@scg00387: Yeah, he definitely is. I'll have to check out Amazon and order one right away!

@Candy_nee: I would try overnight diapers, or move up a size. A diaper cover is also a great idea. I love FLIPS diaper covers!

For us, we used overnight diapers, and at 5 months my lil' guy was already in size 3 diapers (ready to move up to size 4s!).. But he also weighed about 20 lbs.

He's 6 months now and in size 4s.

@chopsuey: I think he weighs about 15-16 lbs? He's always been a bit on the skinny side, hence just now being in size 2s. I may have to try a 3 at night.

@scg00387: We don't do middle of the night feedings either. We do a bed time bottle, then right to bed. But, he still leaks right through the diaper. I think I'm going to get a cover even though they're for cloth! LOL

I would try the next size up. Also, when you put the diaper on make sure he is pointing down! I couldn't figure out why his belly was all wet until DH pointed it out... Oops!

@Candy_nee: we do cloth during the day so it was easy! It saved us lots of laundry. On e he stopped nursing at night (just recently) he stopped needing the cover.

@Candy_nee: how much does your son weigh?
I think at 5 months DS was in 3s and ready to move to 4s.
I switched him over to the next size in advance and have never had leaking problems over night.

I need some help ladies. My little guy is 5 months old, in size 2 diapers (within the last month), and a belly sleeper at night (for the record, I put him on his back, but he rolls over before I can even leave the room. He can roll both ways, so I'm ok with this). However, ever since he's been a belly sleeper, he leaks through his diaper every.single,night. The belly sleeping and the diaper size change happend pretty much at the same time, so I don't think it's a sizing issue. We usually use Pampers BabyDry which claim to be ok for up to 12 hours. He sleeps 11. We switched to LUVS, and that worked for like 2 nights then leakage happened again.
Any advice on how to help keep this from happening? Any diapers that we're not thinking of? Do I need to go up to a size 3 for overnight?
HELP!!
