Before bath time, I just break the elastic instead of trying to pull them out. They're so cheap, I'm not worried about one time use. Sadie's at a SUPER awkward length. She's got a mullet/rat tail thing going on. Her hair is curly and crazy too, so that adds to the fun. I don't even know what to do with it. Headbands/bows/clips don't even help. We tried whale spouts but she ripped them out too so we had no option but to get a fringe (bangs) put in. She looks really cute! Now my daughter has long hair in the back, and I just trimmed her bangs a little too short in the front. She looks like Yo-Landi Visser. It is awesome. DH has been telling me for months we should get it cut but I think in the long run that'll create more work/upkeep (and I don't want her to have bangs). So we're just letting it grow for now. I'll delete these pics in a bit, but you can see the before pics with long side-hair and the after pics with short-all-over.
