I was definitely uncomfy when I was getting bigger. Sometimes, I would nudge whoever's foot so they would move it away from my ribs or something.

Never had to go on bed rest, although I took it easy for a weekend during the first trimester, when I had some bleeding. I had my buns in the oven until 38 and change weeks.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I didn't end up on official bed rest but starting at about 32 weeks my blood pressure was creeping up so she told me to take it easy and lie down as much as possible. Towards the end (I delivered at 37 weeks) I was in bed most of the time and My sister was taking care of my older son.

@Sugar.Biscuit: no bed rest for me, but I did spend a lot of time there. The doctor had me stop training at 18 weeks and I definitely was more sore after that - I think moving helps! I was able to walk to work until about 32 weeks, and by that point I was so uncomfortable that I worked from home as much as possible. Never had any restrictions though - hopefully you don't either! It was a pleasant surprise for us because we were misdiagnosed as mono/mono at first so I expected to be inpatient at 24 weeks.

@twobee: @Mrs. Train: did you ladies ever go on bed rest? When I talked to my dr. He didn't seem concerned with me continuing on as usual. Just rest when needed (which is a lot at this point).

@Mrs. Train: thank you thank you thank you. I'm 21 weeks & measuring at 24. I'm feeling better now but at the end of the day I'm pretty sore. I'm having to reduce my training sessions to 2-3 times a week.

Yes I had pretty bad pain from about 20 weeks on. I asked my OB about it and she said "you're not going to like my answer but growing two people kind of hurts!" I actually didn't mind the answer as long as it was normal. Sometimes I just felt sore every where. I'm sorry this isn't a better answer for you. It's not too early though. Think about how much further along your body feels. I think at 20ish weeks I was measuring at like 30.

@twobee: thank you for responding. I was beginning to think I was crazy. I took yesterday off to relax but it was starting to make me nervous. Thankfully I woke up feeling a thousand times better (that maybe an exaggeration) this morning. Hopefully it lasts...I know things will get worse towards the end but I'm only 21 weeks right now. Its to early for all this crap!

Yes! I won't tell you you're going to be *comfortable*, but this particular flavor of uncomfortable was temporary for me... Hang in there mama!

Did your insides ever feel like they were beaten to a pulp? I've had weird crampy/streachy/brused feeling all day. Laying down helps but I am so uncomfortable! The babies weren't real active the last couple days so I'm surprised by how I'm feeling. Now when they do move it uncomfortable. This week I just feel like I've been run over. Please tell me this feeling is normal & it goes away!!
