I started mixing whole milk with breast milk for day care bottles using my stash. By 12.5 month he was on entirely whole milk during day time and nursing twice. At 13 month he is drinking all whole milk and water. He wasn't big on it for the first few days, and then really took off from that point. LO is 16 months and we are just on morning/evening (and not very much because I am pregnant). I figured that he has a lot of good dairy every day so it's not super necessary. I've been using the end of my breastmilk freezer stash for his oatmeal/cereal. I actually gave her tastes of it before she turned one though. I'd still nurse in the mornings and evenings. </p> <p>Did you introduce (cow's) milk if you stopped nursing in the daytime? Olive hasn't had anything to drink other than breastmilk and water yet. </p>
