Then you press the down arrow until you only see the "speaking man" icon on. Press "select", then press exit (the middle power button). That way it won't trigger the motion detector and there is no annoying beeps.</p> <p>If you don't know what I am talking about, read the menu it may be clearer...</p> <p>This, however, you can't use the temporary "hold". Do you turn off the monitor? </p> <p>If we take her out of the crib w/o turning the whole system off, it sounds the alarm. But if we do turn the system off, the handsets will beep. I'm trying to figure out how to do it without it beeping and waking up my husband in the middle of the night. </p>
