@Rubies: You would die if you found out the size of the dress I bought recently for BIL's wedding. OMG! Lets just say it's in the double digits. Looks a little strange because it's form fitting up top with a super loose skirt. -.-
This baby2 is making my boobs HUGE. It's ridic.

@artbee: I'm carrying extra weight, but I draw attention to my legs. Creates an illusion that I'm a lot thinner than I actually am :D

I have to try everything on...that's the only way I know if new stuff will work or not. Some things are still the same, like my pear shape, so I know to avoid skinny bottoms.

I am back to my pre pregnancy weight, but it's still a good 10 pounds above where I want to be. I'd like to be back into an 8...I used to be a 4, but I don't think I will ever get back there without a serious exercise program.

I had to buy new clothes for work because I didn't have anything that would fit. It really does make me feel better to have clothes that fit, and it is flattering. The only problem I have is finding tops that don't make my boobs look bigger than they already are, yet don't fit me like a tent either.

@artbee: I used to be a 4/6...Now I'm a solid 8. I'm still 12lbs from pre-preggo weight. STILL. It just won't go away!

Ladies, the best thing you can do is to make sure you've got clothes that fit and flatter your shape. Try not to worry about feeling ashamed at the size, you will feel a million times better in a fabulous outfit made for your body type.

There's tons of information online/in magazines. Maybe try Googling for your "new shape" + "style".

And rip the tag out if you don't like the number on it. I do that sometimes.

@Rubies: Four sizes up? I thought you were only 10 pounds over your prebaby weight. Try not to pay attention to the size- just pay attention to how good it looks on you!

Same here, friend. I still struggle to accept my new body (actually, I haven't accepted it at all)...I refuse to buy new appropriately-sized clothes because I haven't yet found peace with this new shape of mine. I do have to attend two weddings in a few months and I cringe at the thought of having to buy a dress four sizes up from my norm. :(

I used to be thin, anywhere from 115-125 pounds with small boobs. Now I'm overweight with big boobs. I'm still not used to this body and not that great at dressing it and knowing what's flattering for me.
