For DD I had the Lansinoh Double Electric (no longer available but very similar to the Ameda Purely Yours). For DS I have the Medela Pump in Style Advanced. I think if you work FT a double electric and a hands-free bra is a must to make things quicker/easier. I am able to work while pumping since I have my own office. I agree that a double electric is necessary once you return to work. For work, I'd say that an electric is a must. I love how portable the Freestyle is and the fact that it's both boobs at a time. I also have a manual pump, but I have never used it, so I can't compare the two.
