My LOs (10 weeks old) sporadically have greenish poop. I brought it up to our ped last week and she brushed it off. She said it could be hind milk/fore milk issues but since they get most of their calories from formula (a high calorie recipe) and they are gaining well, she wasn't concerned. She also said most poop color guidelines are for exclusively BF babies so unless it's black, white, bloody, hard or mucousy we shouldn't worry. She tends to be laid back about things and I'm paranoid, but I'm trying to trust her, haha.

She could just be getting use to the formula. Could you try and space it out more, so she formula every day and the same time? Maybe that would help.

We used that formula when trying to get R to drink a bottle and when she went through more bottles at day care then I was pumping, but I don't remember poop issues.

.. actually, it's like 3 questions...

DD has had green poop for the past 2 weeks. I asked the doctor about it and he said the color is nothing to worry about. But what has me worried is the frequency and acidity of the poop now. She went from pooping 1-2x a day to pooping 7 or 8 times. The doctor said it's probably a stomach bug, but it's been going on for longer than a stomach bug should last.

She's on Similac Sensitive as needed, so some days she'll get only breastmilk and some days she'll get up to 3 bottles of formula.

I took her in 2x last week due to her unexplained fever... I really hate to take her one more time for something the doctor already brushed off.

What would you do?
