I organized DS1’s Legos and put them in tubs with lids so we can keep DS2 away from them :silly: and since DS1 was at school I threw away some toys and made a big box to donate. Best of luck Friday. </p> <p>Tomorrow DS has preschool and I need to start packing. </p> <p>Wednesday DH works from home so I’ll take the kids out for a couple if hours and then park them in front of the tv so I can finish packing then we’ll drive 4ish hours to my brother’s house. </p> <p>Thursday is dinner at my aunt and uncle’s with my fam. </p> <p>Friday I’ll shop early with my mom and brother, hopefully take DS and my niece to see frozen 2 in the afternoon, and grab a drink with my bro and SIL at night while my parents watch the kids. </p> <p>Saturday we head home but are leaving DS1 and he’ll come back in a couple of dats with my parents. </p> <p>Sunday get a tree and decorate! One of my favorite students just successfully defended his PhD! He is amazing and so sweet. I usually get one or two students a year that just grab hold of my heart and watching them progress and finish is just the BEST feeling.</p> <p>I'm working today and tomorrow, then I have the rest of the week off. My mom and I are going to make butter rolls tomorrow night and then Wednesday we will be working on various sides. I'm taking my little family north for the actual holiday to spend it with my in-laws, then back home on Friday to have another Thanksgiving with my family.</p> <p>This is seriously my favorite week of the entire year. Turns out it's lettuce food poisoning. Ugggh thank you e coli.<br /> Saturday: End up in the pedi ER. DS has croup but won't swallow. Released after a few hours. My first time at the ER with him and I was a ball of nerves.<br /> Sunday: Plan for DH to stay home with DS tomorrow, buuuut that night, DH gets hit with food poisoning. Throws up all night. Aghhhhh. </p> <p>Monday - Work. DS is at daycare, because without family in town and no available childcare at the last minute at 7 a.m. on a Monday the week of Tgiving, there was no choice. I'm *that* mom who brought her coughy kid to school, but honestly, this is where he got croup to begin with and at home I'd be worried DH could accidentally pass him e coli.</p> <p>Tuesday - Work. Clean the house. Maybe get a Christmas tree up if I can find the time somehow...</p> <p>Wednesday - Work and prep food. Family arrives for dinner.</p> <p>Thursday - Cook! Host! Please no one be sick/get sick/no sickness!</p> <p>Friday/Sat/Sun - Take my MIL and SIL black Friday shopping. Try to keep my hostess energy up an maintain a somewhat balanced pumping schedule while also hosting. Watch more football than I care to see. Try to get DS to nap with all these people around.
