I also liked "hiking" up to the top of Mount Royal. IIRC, McGill University is nearby.</p> <p>If you are driving, be careful of Montreal drivers. They are crazy and aggressive!!!! If you're taking transit, there used to be a daypass that was useful. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/montreal-travel-tips#post-1694567 Wed, 11 Jun 2014 22:36:53 +0000 californiadreams 1694567@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>i could probably write tons because I grew up in Montreal, but I am about to go to bed :silly: </p> <p>off the top of my bed, i suggest the Botanical Gardens, and the Biodome!</p> <p>Walking around Old Montreal and the Old Port is super nice in the summer.</p> <p>Montreal is also known for all the restaurants where you can sit out on the terrace. - Crescent Street, Prince Arthur and Duluth are good streets for finding restaurants like this - lots are bring your own wine which makes it even better :)</p> <p>A trip to St. Viateur Bagels is a must! And then walking around that neighborhood is fun too - "the plateau". Parc Mont Royal is nice too and in that area..,,stop by on Sunday afternoon and you can enjoy the "tam tams"</p> <p>okay, that is all i got for now...have fun!
