I had regular cycles before actually TTC and the first cycle of TTC my cycle went absolutely crazy and it went to almost 40 days, probably because I was so stressed about OPKs, timing of BD, the TWW stress, etc etc. And of course, I'm on to cycle 2 of TTC now, and I really do believe it's because I was just so constantly stressed out.
