I could have sold them for $40 each but that didn't feel right. </p> <p>I had another issue with Anthropologie - I ordered 3 dresses and 1 was the wrong size, so they sent another and then refunded me for the other three I paid for even though I kept one. I returned 3 so they just assumed it was the original 3. It’s actually happened to me a lot. My husband is always building a new computer and upgrading parts and he ordered like a Dell (insert fancy specs for making the laptop fast) laptop but got sent a different one. He called the company and they sent him the correct one and told him to keep the one we got by accident. New laptop for me </p> <p>We ordered a wagon to haul to the beach and the kids stuff and they sent two. We called the company and they told us to keep the other one. Donated it to a youth sports club. </p> <p>We ordered one of those mattress in a box and when the trial period was up and my back was killing me, we called to return it. But like the above posters, if they make it too hard for you, then just keep/donate them. Something like that happened with a medical insurance payout. We got paid twice (like $800) and we tried to give it back, but there was just such a mess on their end that they couldn‘t figure out how to fix it. I ordered a pair of expensive snow boots and was sent two pairs. I was only charged for one. I hemmed and hawed about what to do and finally decided to return the extra pair. I called the company, explained what happpened, and they sent the return label. A few days after I sent them, I got an email saying I had been refunded...so I got the boots for free. At that point I just dropped it.
