My boobs regulated after 2-3 days. A first it was super uncomfortable but I guess my body adjusts pretty quickly!

I've been dealing with this, too since last week. My breasts have been in too much pain and I am afraid of mastitis so I just sucked it up and pump at 2:30/3 a.m. It sucks so much, but my breasts don't hurt as much when she gets up to eat around 5 or 6.

The engorement doesn't go away completely but it does go down. And I find that if I sleep on my back, it doesn't hotter me as bad as laying on my side.

I still have this problem at 12 weeks, but I am way to lazy to wake up to pump. so I have to deal with leaky boobs, breast pads and painful engorgement.

My boobs didn't stop "engorging" until about 5-6 months PP. Only a handful of times did I have to get up and pump in the middle of the night because my boobs were hurting so much. Other than that, I tried my best to sleep through it.

Recently, my 10 week old has started sleeping anywhere from 8-10+ hours at night (miracle of all miracles). So, I'm now back to using nursing pads at night and having giant, sore boobs in the morning. Will this regulate over time? I hate nursing pads and the boobs start waking me up by 4am.
