He knows once he is downstairs we are heading out the door. On the weekends, we lounge around in pajamas unless he leaked in his diaper then we just get him dressed. She is not that messy so it isn't an issue and if she were I would just stick a bib on her. My son wakes up, has some milk, does his homework and then eats a small breakfast. He gets a snack trap of cereal or a waffle to nibble on with a smoothie on the way to school.<br /> He gets breakfast at school if he wants more to eat. He's usually not hungry first thing so the protracted two step breakfast works for him.</p> <p>Weekends he eats in his pajamas and takes forever and usually makes a mess. Sometimes it backfires because I'm so focused on getting myself ready that when we're about to leave I realize he's not dressed. When he gets dressed, then eats, he almost always gets his clothes dirty lol. Just curious what works best for your kids in the morning. </p>
