I got really sick while trying to eat dinner one night about 9 or 10 days post ovulation. It was really strong and if I wasn't such a baby about puking I probably would have. This was followed by terrible teeth chattering chills. I spent the night on the couch and was convinced something HAD to be up. I tested the next morning and got my bfp!

@MrsH: @Ash: Unfortunately (or fortunately?), I think it was because I took a RX narcotic cough medicine on an empty stomach last night. Just took some time for the feeling to go away. I guess I'll know better within the next couple days?

@VEGMAMA: I took some RX cough medicine last night and I think that on an empty stomach lead to the nauseousness. Which is good but a BFP would make it a little more worthwhile ;)

@LindsayInNY: That cycle ended up NOT being the month we got our BFP. The month I got the BFP, I had little-to-no symtoms. I had a sore throat a few days after O, I felt pretty tired, and my nipples started to become sore. Other than that, I just thought AF was coming.

After my BFP, I started feeling a little queasy from week 6 or 7, and am still feeling that way. No vomiting, just feeling icky!

I have no way of knowing for sure, but I think I experienced a chemical pregnancy in January during what would have been the TWW. I was suddenly dizzy, nauseous, and generally just felt pregnant (would have been my 2nd pregnancy). I even threw up a few times. BFN. So I suppose it is possible during the TWW.

I got pregnant for real in March and started feeling MS just after the 4 week mark.

@VEGMAMA: Was the TWW you experienced this when you got your BFP? When did the nauseousness start?

@Foodnerd81: Thanks!! That's exactly what I said to my hubby ... That the morning sickness would totally be okay if it meant there was a baby! :)

Real nausea didn't hit for me until 6 weeks. I had moments here and there during the TWW, both the cycle I got my BFP and previous cycles. But I'm prone to upset stomachs anyway so I could never read into it.

ETA: Oh and the boobs were equally sore the month before BFP and the month of my BFP-- both times I said to DH, I'd better be pregnant if my boobs are going to be THIS bad... one of those times I was right.

Hi friends. After a chemical pregnancy last month, we are back on the baby-making train. Over the weekend I was feeling pretty sluggish & pukey. I never got sick, but I just felt nauseous the whole time. It's still too early to test (I'm only 7-9 DPO), but I'm wondering if I'm feeling a hormone shift of some kind. Last time, I had no nausea at all, but I wonder if it's because everything wasn't really 'right' with that pregnancy. My breasts aren't sore yet (first sign last time). I don't want to get symptom crazy, I just wonder if anyone had nausea (morning sickness) before their BFP.
