Smells are the worst triggers for me. I throw up, I feel great....about 50 min later, I get severely nauseated and light headed, then puke again. Then feel great. It's a cycle that lasts a good 12 hours. I always get fun diarrhea with the stomach flu, too. My stomach would hurt more, too, like something is working overtime in there...and then is totally gone a couple days later. </p> <p>Morning sickness felt more constant to me. More hangover-like. I got motion sickness even while driving. Morning sickness was more like a really, really bad hangover. I feel nauseated, especially between morning and 2. I am exhausted and just want to rest but not necessarily sleep. I am still eating. In fact, I am eating more than I normally do because I feel so sick when I don't eat. I don't think I have a fever.<br /> With a few exceptions, this feels a lot like some kind of stomach bug except that it started Friday and is still going strong on Monday. My husband hasn't gotten sick. I feel awful.<br /> This is probably an idiotic question but I didn't have morning sickness with my other pregnancies, so this is new to me.<br /> Does this sound like morning sickness or the flu? How can you tell the difference between a bug and morning sickness (other than the fact the morning sickness sticks around a lot longer?) </p>
