@pastemoo: really bland starchy foods helped slightly. I ate a lot of mashed potatoes and pasta. Not great for my pregnancy weight gain, but those were some of the only foods I could eat reliably without throwing up. I also snacked on plain popcorn.

@pastemoo: I turned the corner at 11 weeks and feel like a new person today at 12w6d. I've still had the occasional dry heave or bout of nausea, but it doesn't affect my daily life anymore. I actually was just reading your other thread and thought about how similar your situation sounded to mine- except for the losing weight part- I didn't lose anything, because if I kept my stomach full of carby foods it helped slightly. I hope you feel better soon!

How are you doing? This was 3 weeks ago now.

Last time I had nausea till 19 weeks but only vomiting maybe 2 or 3 times.

Now I vomit 1-2x/day, but usually on an empty stomach, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm losing my mind from lack of nutrition. :/ Only 6 weeks, so I've got a long way to go.

Thank you everyone! I like hearing that around 9-10 weeks was a peak for a lot of you. I can handle the nausea, even the occasional (or once a day) vomit, so as long as it doesn't get worse I'll be thankful!

I was never sick with DS so I can commiserate with this new territory with you! I'm currently 13w, and it seems to be letting up. Occasionally, I will feel really ill while other times, just slightly nauseous if I'm getting hungry (even if I don't feel like I am). Hoping it lets up on you soon! Being sick sucks!

Hang in there! Mine peaked around 9 weeks and lasted through 17. I took unisom, which really helped. Also sea bands helped.

9 weeks was definitely the worst. Not what you want to hear but 20 weeks with my first and I'm 19 weeks now and it's just about gone. I was on the up starting at 16. Not at all what you want to hear, but they are so worth it!!

It peaked around 11 weeks, but ms sucked until 14 or 15. Zofran, zofran, zofran. As long as I took it before I started to get nauseous I could handle the sickness.

My MS started around 5 weeks, peaked around 8 weeks and gradually got better from there, with some weeks better than others. It all subsided around 15 weeks. Hang in there, I hope you feel better soon!

@travellingbee: oh no, that sounds terrible! I'm sorry you've felt so bad.
@Truth Bombs: @akcoffeebean: if it doesn't get better, I may have to look into medicating. Work doesn't know yet, and I have no immediate plans to tell them... So even though I hate relying on medication, I'll talk to my on about it at my next appt.
@rattles: I'm just going to hope that I have the same experience. It's gotten noticeably worse as soon as I hit 9wks, so hopefully this is the peak.

I'm sorry you're feeling awful. MS is so miserable. I agree with pp- of it's not getting better ask for some anti nausea medicine. I had bad ms with my first and Zofran was what kept me sane and more comfortable.

I hope you feel better soon. It's so rough.

Mine was never that awful- I felt terrible but never threw up- but with both pregnancies it peaked at 9 weeks. It wasn't a sudden shift back to feeling better but very gradually I did. For me both times it took until maybe 14 weeks or so to feel a little more normal.

Until about 22 weeks I puked any time I wasn't on my B6+Unisom regiment. If you're really miserable and it's affecting your quality of life, talk to your doc about a medicine solution that might help.

Mine lasted until 20 weeks with my first pregnancy and peaked around 9-15 weeks.

This time I guess it is going to last the whole pregnancy because I am still sick at 24 weeks. But the worst part was still around 9-15 weeks.

Sorry, I'm not a great bearer of good news, as far as my experience...

I'm 9wks, and so sick. I've been feeling nauseous since about 5wks, and throwing up has been a daily occurrence since 7ish weeks. Today I've thrown up after every meal. Please someone tell me that MS gets worse and then quickly gets better? If you were sick in your first trimester, when did you start feeling better? I was never more than slightly nauseous during my first pregnancy, so this is all uncharted territory for me.
