I have been experiencing this also. At the moment it seems to have switched to constipation like I had my whole first pregnancy. Maybe it'll switch back again, keep me guessing. I've been mostly eating light and simple foods especially when my tummy is upset.

@MenagerieMama: I am pretty much where you are, 9 weeks 5 days. Unfortunately, I am experiencing both morning (all day) sickness and vomiting AND loose stools. I would say it hasn't progressed to diarrhea yet, but they are more frequent and less than solid. I would rather just deal with the lower GI issues, but we don't get to choose. Solidarity, sister!

I always have diarrhea when pregnant. The discomfort usually tapers off but it never goes away, I go like 4 times a day while pregnant lol

In the beginning, yea this was a symptom. I still get it occasionally but it alternates between that and constipation. The joys of pregnancy!

@MenagerieMama: Yep I had it throughout my first trimester. It was actually one of my first pregnancy symptoms. I was confused too because I always heard constipation was common. Things actually remained...loose...so to speak until about 20 weeks. I did read that's just how some women's bodies react to hormones.

Yes, this is how my morning sickness mostly
Manifested in both pregnancies. My first, I had nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. This time, just severe nausea and diarrhea. I have a very sensitive stomach and usually get diarrhea with my periods (sorry, TMI, lol) so I think my body just reacts a bit differently to hormones.

Okay so clearly TMI, but I've had a decent amount of nausea so far this pregnancy (9+3 today) but no vomiting. It always ends up working its way through my system and I get belly cramps and diarrhea. Usually just once a day but today 3 times. It's been going on since my BFP as I can remember though I got a sinus infection early on so I lost track of my ailments :silly:

Has this happened to anyone? It's just the opposite of the usually pregnancy lower GI issues (at least I'm not constipated!) but I also want to make sure I'm not missing something...i didn't have this with my last pregnsncy and barely had nausea then as it was.
