7.5 months and it is starting to get a bit better. I hate that there is no control and it just happens.

Awww try not to worry about it. I know its not the same, but I cannot do a single jumping jack without peeing myself.

Kegels and other pelvic exercises help with that. I started doing Kegels not long after giving birth. They've helped a lot to get my body back into shape.

I would talk to your doctor. They might be able to refer you for some PT to address pelvic floor issues. I've been doing PT for some other postpartum issues and it has helped a ton!

Awww big hugs! It's human nature. We all have to pass gas! I had to have surgery to remove my fibroids 2 summers ago and that was the only determining factor for them to discharge me. I waited what seemed like forever to pass gas. I was finally released at 9pm at night! After baby, I was gassy up until 3 months pp. It's gone now.

Low squat sits (like the squat sit that toddlers do) can really help with pelvic floor strength and help improve control.
I had this issue for al ittle bit and it was really embarrassing.

I am struggling with uncontrollable gas post partum. It's so embarrassing but sometimes when I stand up I surprise myself with a really loud toot. It never happened before I gave birth.

There was a horrifying incident 1 month pp when I farted all over my in laws dinner when I got up to grab something from the kitchen. They laughed but I wanted to die, over and over again.

Just now, 8 months post partum, I stood up from my cube and audibly farted all the way to the bathroom. I guess at least a dozen coworkers must have heard. I have absolutely no control over it. I'm not even 100% sure which hole it's coming from. I just want to go home and cry.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I only had second degree tears at delivery so my hiney shouldn't even bee involved, right?
