I had one and returned it in favor of the arms reach clear vue mini co sleeper. You don't have to buy extenders for it to raise or lower to bed height, it has 4 wheels to roll around, there is lots of storage underneath, it can be sidecarred to your bed...it breaks down to store. In short...it's awesome. We just reassembled it for #2. LO 1 slept in it for nearly 4 months.

I ended up buying this one I found on Craigslist for $70 for the set. @MrsADS: DD1 had terrible reflux, so I’m hoping this baby won’t.. I’m thinking worse case scenario, it’ll be good for pictures  and I can always resell

My only caution... if you end up having a baby with reflux who needs to sleep elevated, this won't work. My father in law handmade a beautiful wooden cradle that 5 other grandchildren used and we hoped to use, as well. I ordered a special mattress, sheets, etc. Unfortunately my son had terrible reflux and had to sleep elevated so we could never use it.

I have one that I used for all three of my babies. I adored it - it was easy to keep right by my bed, easy to move around if I wanted to, and the bedding was so minimal and small compared to a crib that it was super easy to wash/keep fresh. I'm so obsessed with mine (and how it looks) that it is one piece of baby gear I'll probably never sell.

My kids slept in it for at least 4 months apiece. BUT - they were all tiny (between 4 and 5.5 lbs at birth, and not quick to gain weight), and none were mobile at a particularly early age. DD3, who was pretty much a preemie, slept in it until she was (I'm blushing, here) 8 months old - I wanted her close to me, and this was the easiest way!

I had one for lo1 and loved it. The only problem was that he was huge and out grew it quickly. With lo2 I got a babyhome air bassinet and loved it. He slept in it until he could sit himself up at 6 months and it wasn't safe anymore. I wanted something like the basket but bigger. We live in a small apartment and having something small and light was great.

I wanted one so bad because I think they are darling and my house is small. I had a general moses basket and a jolly rocker stand. The little mattress that went in it was so thin and the basket was just so small. I couldn't find a better mattress for it. My husband thought it looked archaic. After baby's first night home, we rushed out and got the halo bassinet. It seemed better all around, except aesthetically and for pictures! I love the Serena & Lily baskets and will consider that for short naps and such.

We had the Serena & Lily Sausalito Moses Basket and I loved it; it was probably my favorite piece of baby furniture. We had a rocking stand with it (Jolly Rocker, I think?)

@CatchAFallingStar: I bought and used one with LO2 and really liked it! We got the rocking stand but didn't use that feature all that much. I didn't move it around the house as much as I thought I would but liked that it had a fairly small footprint and fit nicely at my bedside.

I loved our basket and stand. We used it in our room at night until we transitioned LO into her own crib (around 3.5 months). Then we used it in the living room until she outgrew it.
We live in a bungalow so even though it didn’t have wheels it was still pretty easy for me to pull around to a different room if I needed to.
I will definitely be using with our second.

I’m pregnant with baby girl #2 and considering buying a Moses basket and stand. Anyone have experience with them? Would love your input!
