By the time you account for time to come to pressure and release pressure I don't find it all that fast. Plus most things end up swimming in juices and so it all ends up like boiled meat, which isn't my thing. Plus it's a PITA to clean so that's a deterrent for me. I have two knees that have acl repairs so my knees just don't tolerate a ton of running. The bike in general is one of the best low impact (but not no impact like swimming) forms of cardio you can do. I'm a PT by the way.<br /> You could always try the app. It's $12.99 a month. Would give you a taste of what you are in for. So, I did soul cycle once, and while I am completely into yoga and zen- it was over the top. I still don't know what tap it back means? And the music was so loud, and so dark. I like great heart thumping music, and a high energy instructor as much as the next guy or gal though! I have a brand new treadmill, but my knee has been a bit tweaky now that I'm 29 lol.
