@SweetCaroline: I totally would have done that but we were gifted them. I've been trying to find cheaper doggie bags that fit in the container though! All the ones I've tried have been too long though.

Oh boy, the epic tantrum thrown while on vacation because the wheels on the remote control car were stuck to the left.

It was in full view of about 30 people, all parents with kids, though, so at least there's that.

Not as bad as yours, but DS threw the biggest tantrum of his life at the grocery store, refused to stay in the cart (he can escape any constraints) threw everything onto the floor and was screaming at the top of his lungs the entire time. I probably should have just given up and gone home but we were completely out of food and it was a Wednesday at like 2pm so I figured it was an acceptable/normal occurrence for our super suburban wegmans. I was shocked to get so many dirty looks!

Stuck on a super turbulent airplane with a crazy 18 month old, seat belt signs on, and he of course has a massive leaking blowout. The flight attendants wouldn't let us up to go to the bathroom, so we changed him in the seat. This old bitch next to us had a tantrum about the smell, got moved to a new seat, then the flight attendant yelled at us about changing him where people eat. Sigh. Couldn't win, but United is NEVER getting another penny out of me again.

Oh man, DD threw up while I was in line at the post office filing out a customs form. I caught half of it in my hands and just was kneeling there, holding it in complete shock. I finally realized I should ask for paper towels. And some young guy slid a trash can over to me. Everyone was staring. Ugh. I finished the form because I was NOT coming back to mail that package.

@Torchwood: throw a roll of paper towels in there too. Sometimes wipes aren't enough.

This is particularly embarrassing, but my sister's then 1 year old threw up all over himself, her, and the rug in the nursing room at Buy Buy Baby. She just stood there holding him out like, what do I do? I was pretty pleased when I realized I had on a tank top under my sweater that she could wear, and we were in a BABY store so I could just buy him new clothes! Not a bad place for it to happen.

We were on a mini-vacation when my daughter was about 2.5. She had been potty trained for a couple months but was still extremely resistant to using public toilets. We were in a candy store, of all places, when we noticed that she was standing in a very large puddle. I didn't even have any extra clothes with me to change her. It was completely mortifying. We let an employee know and they were very nice to us and assured us they would clean it up. Needless to say, we got out of there as quickly as possible!

Oh these are horrible! Parenting is so glamorous.
DH has trick or treating at his office every year. On the drive to his office LO1 (just turned 2) threw up all over himself in his lion costume - so all in the mane and everything too. We were on the highway like a mile from the exit stuck in traffic. Poor LO, I didn't have a shirt for him to change into to he had to squeeze into his 5 month old brother's onsie. DH took him into the bathroom to get cleaned up so of course we had to meet all his coworkers for the first time with a stinky crying 2 year old wearing a much too small shirt. Then it took us nearly an hour to get home. Poor DS. I felt so bad for him!

My child likes to throw up on me at really inconvenient times. Such as, on a packed commuter trail in late August, without air conditioning, with grouchy adult commuters giving me the side eye about why I have a toddler on a commuter train. So yeah, they got to smell that for 25 minutes. It was great, just having puke drip down my bra for an extended period of time. Oh and then he bit me out of frustration. I cried when we got home. A lot.

Ugh.

We were JUST at DH's grandmother's funeral this weekend and my MIL instructed me and 18 month old DS to sit in the very front row of the chapel. Right in the middle of the service, as my husband was getting up to give the eulogy, I realize my pants are wet. Which is when I realize DS (who has been on strong antibiotics all week) has had a HUGE blowout. I had even sized him up a diaper in case something like this happened, but it had soaked through his pants and now my pants. Our only saving grace was that we were both wearing black. I quietly moved him over to the side of the tiny one-room chapel where the choir would normally sit to spare other guests any issues of stench (unfortunately, I lost my sense of smell after a surgery a few years ago so I had NO idea if there was a smell!) I put DS' bib on my lap (BECAUSE OF COURSE MY DIAPER BAG WAS IN THE PASTOR'S OFFICE BEHIND THE PODIUM WHERE THEY TOLD ME TO PUT IT BEFORE THE SERVICE) and sat him on top of it until DH was done with the eulogy.

I told DH what was going on and at some point during a hymn, we crept out. Luckily, DH knew the layout of the church and figured out a way to get our diaper bag from another room and made our way to the basement where we literally had to strip our son naked, give him a sink bath, and change him on a ping pong table. I did think to pack a spare outfit for DS, but not for myself so I blotted what I could out of my pants and then sprayed myself with the janitor's Lysol spray from head to toe. DH swore he couldn't smell anything on me, but he had a sinus infection, so I don't know if I believe him or not.

What. a. day.

Oh yeah, we had a poop-splosion at a restaurant. I smelled something but we were just finished dinner so I waited until we were about to go and when I picked J up it was every. where. He was just past the point where I always had a spare set of clothes in the diaperbag, so I had to get him to the restaurant and he went home in a diaper and a hoodie. My husband had to sheepishly tell the waitstaff what happened, but they were surprisingly ok with it. Which then made us wonder if this happens a lot... which I dont know if its a good or bad thing.

When H was an infant, she had a blowout in Half Price books, so I took her to the car to get changed and then feed her. Then, she had another blowout while I was feeding her and it leaked onto my leggings. I had to text my husband to get out of the store and then I had to take my leggings off in the car and ride home without pants. Thank God it was dark.

My LO pee'd in a restaurant high chair when she was potty training. I took her to the bathroom at the end of the meal not realizing she had already pee'd. When we get to the bathroom of course she has to poop which take forever and we occupy the only stall for 15 minutes or so. When I left the bathroom I brought a ton of paper towels to take care of the pee situation. But the high chair is gone and there's already another kid sitting in it. I quickly told DH what happened and that we had to go. He swears the kid that got the high chair next was glaring at him.
