Other than that, I can't think of much newborn stuff that I actually used that I got as a gift. We never used a swing, pack and play, swaddles, nursing pillow or pacis. </p> <p>We had to go out and buy infant Tylenol and Gripe Water. Also we needed smaller diapers than what we had. </p> <p>If you're looking for stuff to put on your registry, I'd put nice toys and books for later-- a nice set of blocks, wooden rattles, plush toys. I think people like giving toys especially when they don't already have kids because it's easy to pick out and fun. LO was in sleepers for 90% of the time until she was 6 weeks and her head wasn't so floppy. We only had 3 sleepers so I had to run out and buy a few more in NB. I've used it for at least a two hours a day every day since we brought it home. And 0-3 month outfits.
