Not that I cook to begin with, but with a new baby, DH and I were both exhausted. I had never heard of these, but my experienced mom friend got them for me. If these had not been in my house postpartum day 3, I am sure I would have quit nursing. Also Trumpette socks, seemed like a lot of people bought us baby socks but they were the only ones that seemed to stay on.</p> <p>A few people bought be bigger sized clothes which was really nice. Everyone buys outfits 0-12 months and then all of the sudden your LO turns one and you have no clothes that fit them. Diaper genie my husband is obsessed with. Marpac Dohm white noise machine. A soft terry duster robe (the zip up kind) - so useful when you are nursing in the beginning. Bring dense snacks and breakfasts like muffins, lactation cookies, hard boiled eggs, etc. </p>
