We have used an 8th grader a couple of times but prefer a different form who is going into her sophomore year and we pay her $7. I will be home the whole time and I am using a 12 year old. Her duties will just be to keep the kids alive and happy. No cleaning, feeding or diaper changes. What do you pay an 11-12 year old in your city? 4 hours a week, broken into 2 days. </p>
