<description>&#60;p&#62;I don't think you can, it turns off to save the battery. You'll be able to tell if LO is crying though by looking at the lights on the top. If more of the dots light up and they're red/orange, it means the noise level is increasing, so presumably LO is crying (does that make sense?).
