@smocks: I just called last week to see if they sold replacement parent units. They do not. The power button on ours broke and, although it still works, we were looking for a replacement because we can't turn it off while traveling. They said to try Ebay, but no luck so far. I've also been checking out Craigslist as well.

@autumn865: our battery started dying out as well, but we bought a replacement battery for like $15 off of Amazon. Now we are back to hours of off-the-charger functioning! You should totally check it out:

We have the same monitor as you and unfortunately we haven't been able to find a new monitor. Our screen is fickle and will automatically shut off randomly and the battery only lasts about 2 hours off the charger after two years. Kind of annoying for a monitor that costs $250.

I washed our Summer video monitor, I tried contacting them, ect. and they wouldn't do anything. Hopefully Motorola is better to you! I'm in the process of selling the camera since that is fine and I'm going back to a regular monitor.

I was in a similar situation (except I broke our monitor by dropping it into the bathroom sink)-- I ended up just buying one on Craigslist since it was cheaper than getting a new one at the store.

you could try ebay, if motorola won't sell you the part.

Help! We moved apartments back in August and I completely misplaced the monitor part of our Motorola video monitor. It's been over 4 months and is no where to be seen. I still have the 2 cameras it came with, so I don't really want to replace the whole darn thing when LO#2 comes in July, but... Any advice? Think if I contacted Motorola, they'd sell me just the monitor?
