@LuLu Mom: Yay good to hear! :)

I didn't want to say it earlier because I know you were worried and sometimes things like "don't worry" doesn't help! BUT my OB at my 24 week appointment did tell me not to worry about days without movement because it's hard to tell when they are still kind of small. Hence not starting kick counts till 28 weeks.

Let us know how it goes tonight/tomorrow! At 22 weeks, SO much depends on the baby's position. (And I'm no expert--that's straight from the mouth of my midwife when I was asking this same question! :) )

I remember lots of "slow" days from that time...I'm sure all is okay, and I hope she gets moving again for you tonight!

@Raindrop: @ScarletBegonia: Just got off the phone with the nurse, she wants me to do kick counts and call back tomorrow (office closes in 15 minutes.)

I think she was just taking it easy today, she's starting to kick hard now of course right after I called the office, I think she's just giving me a scare...already messing with me! ;) I'll keep count and let the doc office know, sigh I hate feeling like an idiot. It's my second, but the fear never goes away!

Hugs, I hated that feeling so much :crying:
I had a memorable 3/4 days of very little movement right at Christmas last year - I even left Christmas dinner and went to my room for several hours because I was so distraught and couldn't focus on the dinner. I was still feeling very VERY minor things every so often but nothing regular and a huge decrease from what I had been feeling up until then. I was about 27 weeks at that point. Just when I was about to call the doctor, he started up again very gradually and within a few days things were back to normal. Hopefully the same happens with you - looking back I wish I'd just called and been monitored so I could know everything was fine instead of losing sleep worrying.
Good luck!

@regberadaisy: My OB usually says 4-5 movements in an hour, but I believe that is for the 3rd trimester, I'm only in my 2nd. I'm at work now, but am off in 30 minutes, I'll try laying down and see if that gets her going. She's usually active right now (late afternoon), naps for a few hours, and then kicks it into high gear when I'm ready for bed. She didn't last night though as I went to bed without her kicking me and I even commented on it to DH.

My OB always suggest drinking a glass of cold juice and laying down on your left side to count movements. It doesn't have to be a kick or jab, can just be flutters. My OB usually wants 8 movements within 2 hours.

My LO back then wasn't very active during the day so I would never attempt to get her to move then. I'd def try drinking/eating something, then laying on your side, maybe a few nudge to see if any movements. Be patient too! I had a few freak outs but she always ended up moving eventually.

I just put a call in, I keep pushing on my stomach and drank some cold water (I already had a pop today trying to get her to move) so i'll see what they say!

When in doubt, call or go in!
You could alway drink a can of soda to try and get buns moving but I recommend calling or going in for peace of mind

I'm 22 weeks 3 days and have noticed I haven't felt much (if any really) movement the last 2 days. I know it is too early to feel "regular" movement but I've been feeling her for several weeks now, and know when she's usually active. When is it time to call in and get checked out?
