Please go have it checked out. Just go. No need to call.

I don't want to unnecessarily frighten you, but I was induced at 39 weeks due to complications that were discovered because I casually mentioned to my OB during my 39 week appointment that LO had not been moving around as much as normal. (I thought she was just running out of room.) After further examination, I was sent directly from my OB to L&D so the induction could be started as soon as possible.

ETA: Please don't rely on a kick count if you are not sure. It's a good general rule of thumb, but I would err on the side of caution, and go with your gut.

@jedeve: mine was the same way. He barely moved the last few weeks. Ob assured me that everything was fine as long as i felt at least 10movements.

If you are extremely worried call your doc!

Yup! My LO really slowed down at the end, and even more so the day before/day of labor. Maybe baby is catching up on rest before the big day ;)

I *know* that baby movements slow down to the end, but that doesn't make it less awful. Baby only has really moved today when I jostle my stomach, or an occasional nudge here or there. No big sessions of movement. Is that normal? I'm 39 weeks.
