Actually, we're leaving our house in three weeks and staying in temporary accommodation for 12 days before we fly up and move into our new house. We are quite fortunate in that DH's company pays for movers to come and pack, move all the furniture, and unpack in the new house....having done it twice before (once at 5 weeks pregnant and again at 35 weeks pregnant), I have to say it is well worth the money! Any chance you have the option of paying for that to be done? It was VERY hard work. All I can say is rely on friends when they reach out offering help, know that sometimes hiring people is better than going crazy, and there is a reason they invented wine.
