@highwire: I was the same way! The only thing that made the nausea go away was FOOD! Then I discovered TUMS (too late). There's a reason I gained 50+ lbs! I kept stuffing my face.
Try tums when you feel queasy. It may help!

I've had really bad bloating too. My doctor told me that with bloating it's actually best to eat protein. Carbs are what you want to eat, but it will actually make the bloating worse.

Little snacks helped me, too. Lots of carbs because I couldn't stomach the thought of anything else. As much as M/S made me miserable, I appreciated it because it let me know that everything was going okay with the baby.

@sorrycharlie: Water makes me gag, too! I've started flavoring my water with the flavors meant to be with used with the SodaStream. It's helped a lot.

Good luck through this. I don't have much assistance because the whole eating small meals every few hours thing never worked for me. I did keep crackers on hand though and stayed far away from anything stinky!!

I have to agree - I always ate small snacky things. mostly carb things..crackers, cereal, grilled cheese etc. at 14 weeks I'm still in that boat! it definitely helps.

I also found lemonade (such as minute maid lemonade) helps a little...water often made me gag!

All day today I've felt miserable in terms of my digestive track. Nauseous/bloated/uncomfortable. The only thing that gives me any relief is to eat something, and once an hour has passed, it comes back. Guess it is about to be that time! Keep cooking away, baby. And try to take it easy on me if you can.
