thankfully my immediate family is really healthy like us!! Everyone eats mostly GF and definitely soy-free, so it's easy!!

I'm not MSPI but I eat similarly.

Whole baked sweet potatoes with a little nutmeg delicious. You could make your own mashed potatoes with coconut or rice milk. I don't eat much at thanksgiving anyway. But I have to miss out on rolls this year because we are going to someone else's house. I wish I could do my own

@tororojo: Thanks! Having to cut so much is definitely not the easiest! Pretty much things I've found that are GF aren't dairy &/or Soy free so I still have to try and find substitutes. Having a whole foods would make this so much easier! lol

There's a whole branch of my family that's bringing gluten-free stuff to Thanksgiving, and the rest of us are bringing gluten-full stuff (this is for a big gathering, like 20-30 people). I know they've mentioned stuffing and several kinds of dessert being gluten-free for sure. I don't have any good recipes for you, but I hope you're able to find something delicious to eat for Turkey Day!

I was wondering what other mspi mommas were planning to do for Thanksgiving & the holidays. I'm m/s and many other things free so eating anywhere but home is hard, ESPECIALLY when you come to family gatherings like these.

We have THREE Thanksgivings to go to and unless I take something I'll only be able to eat at one, my moms b/c she's willing to substitute for me. So I've decided to take a dish to each so I know I'll have SOMETHING to eat. lol

I haven't tried any of these yet but may try tonight or tomorrow.... I might just wing it & blame it on it being d/s/w free if it fails. lol. First I'm making some sweet potato pie (well I'm going to make mini pies using a muffin pan). I found this recipe & thought I could easily substitute rice milk for the soy & have some GF flour. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=23879 And then I am taking green bean casserole to my moms (minus the cheese on top): http://www.glutenfreebaking.com/public/GlutenFree_Thanksgiving_How_to_Make_GlutenFree_Green_Bean_Casserole.cfm

Any other protein intolerant moms have any recipes to share?
