But I heard that it was staged and Miley knew she was getting that award. </p> <p>I do think JLo looked amazing in that dress. </p> <p>I saw the article about Jim Carrey saying a joke about Ebola and then he ended up tripping and falling. I was hoping to catch that on one of the reruns but I didn't. </p> <p>I do think I'm getting too old for these shows. And yes, when did leotards in public become a thing? I was a gymnast and ballerina, and they definitely have their time and place... But onstage? Gyrating like strippers? Between that and the bikini / underwear look Minaj sported in her first section, I feel like we're sending the wrong message to our daughters - that you have to be mostly naked to be sexy, that your body is the most important thing, and that shaking your rear end while practically naked is not only ok, it's cool. When did I turn into Maxine from the Hallmark cards? Put some damn clothes on and quit objectifying yourselves. :shocked: </p> <p>Um, rant over...
