This resonates with me because my uncle who just passed couldn't understand why the doctors were giving up. He had fought lung cancer for 4 years and was in almost zero pain when the doctors stopped treatment... and he was at Dana Farber. He's a tough guy with a high pain tolerance (obviously) but the doctors knew that any further treatment would definitely kill him instantly. She went through so much in her super short life and always seemed like a genuinely happy, beautiful person. I'm sad for her friends and family :( </p>
