I have been told that you're more fertile, but I don't know if that means you're likely to release more than one egg....versus the environment itself just being more favorable

I have heard you're more fertile after a loss (I was), but never heard about multiples! We ended up with just one.

A close friend of mine miscarried identical twins, then miscarried a singleton, then went on to deliver boy-girl twins.

I've never heard this. I don't know anyone that's had twins after a MC.

I heard this too, or read it online. I was hoping for twins but am thrilled I was able to get pregnant so quickly after my mc.

I've read (and heard doctors say) that you can be extra fertile after a miscarriage, and have higher chance of twins. My husband's a twin (though that doesn't matter for us), and I have a family history of them, so our family thinks we're likely to have them too. Has anyone heard of this, or experienced it? (And please note if you were on fertility meds, or over 35, since that will skew the results.)
