My identical twin boys are 5 1/2 now. I also have a 6 year old and a 3 year old. I thought the toddler years were supper fun but I am really starting to get the hang of this big kid stage. It can be so much fun.

It's great to see so many other twin mamas! I have 14 month fraternal girls. They are into absolutely everything. They're a ton of fun and provide lots of laughs and are also absolutely exhausting.

Great idea! I have 5 month old twins - boy and girl. They were micro-preemies born at 26 weeks, so they act like they are two months old. Miraculously, they seem to be 100% healthy despite their early birth, which is CRAZY.

We've been super sleep-deprived, but our babies have just started sleeping longer stretches at night, so that's incredible for morale. :)

Looking forward to getting to know you all! :)

I have 11 day old fraternal boy and girl and 25 month old girl. I've been surprised that it's been easier than I expected so far. however, they're exiting the super sleepy stage so we shall see.

Awesome idea! We have 22 month old identical boys. They're in such a fun stage right now! We'll see how the transition is when baby brother comes any day now.

@marionberry: There will be rough stages on and off where it's all about surviving, but you'll definitely have many, many stages where you and your family will be thriving!

@twodoghouse: 27 weeks today and starting to feel like time is slipping away. Yes, two boys. They're di-di but supposedly there's still a 30% chance they could be identical. I guess we'll see if they look similar. I've felt pretty great this far but am definitely having large bouts of sleeplessness in the middle of the night.

I love hearing stories of you twin moms excelling with your kids. It gives me hope! Getting to sleep at night has got to be awesome too. What did you do to nap train? Oh and just wait until they can walk. I spend most of my time chasing ds - it's going to be insane chasing two of them at once plus him!

@marionberry: I was just thinking about a thread like this! Great idea! How far along are you now? How are you feeling? Did I see that you're having two boys? Do you know if they are identical or fraternal?

My twins are 8 months old and after a rough spot over the holidays where they wouldn't nap away from home, we've really hit our stride. Nap training saved the day! Night sleep is going well too, which makes for happy rested babies and parents. Alice and Blake are wild things, cruising the furniture, crawling after the dog, wrestling with each other, etc. This is such a fun, but exhausting age!

I know there are a few of us getting closer to being due with twins and I'd love to have a place where any multiple mama can come to ask questions, get advice, and whine (when necessary) on a regular basis.

If you're a multiple mama please join in!
